Jeremy Kane

Founding Partner

Jeremy Kane is one of the founding partners of Galapagos Marketing. His focus is strategic marketing planning, with an emphasis on helping clients achieve competitive advantage, long-term growth, and adapting successfully to a changing market place.

His career in financial services marketing extends 23 years and began with a leading Midwest branding agency. From there, he joined Crowe Horwath as a founding member of a new Financial Institutions sales and marketing practice, helping to grow the group from eight to 60 people in three years. He became the Partner-in-Charge of the practice in 2005.

During his career in Financial Services, Jeremy has worked with national, regional, community, de novo, and online-only institutions, preferring most to work with leadership teams of community-focused institutions. Prior to focusing on FIs, he gained significant experience in B2B marketing, managing accounts with Dow Chemical, Dow Corning, General Motors, and La-Z-Boy Furniture.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Reading University in England and his Masters from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Jeremy has a graduate degree in Bank Marketing from The University of Colorado.

An avid soccer fan, Jeremy has played the game for over 50 years and coached it for 14. He enjoys the outdoors – and loves to hike, kayak, or bike out west. He’s a community ambassador and head soccer coach for the YMCA and a volunteer soccer coach for a west Michigan-based Orphan Refugee charity organization.
